Welcome back to a brand-new year at Claremont! We are really pleased to be back in school to support our pupils through another year of fun!
Here are a few updates:
We are following a ‘recovery curriculum’ to support pupils in settling back into school. We will be working on the same ILP targets that we were using when we first went into lockdown, and baselining all the pupils ready for new targets in term 2.
Class name change
Due to lots of new pupils starting in early years, the classes have been re-numbered. We are now called P6 but we are still in the same classroom as last year.
Therapists are starting to come back into school but this won’t be like before lockdown. We will communicate with them through email and zoom and hopefully have some pre-arranged visits into the classroom. Here are their new contact details if you would like to get in touch directly. We also have a new physio called Ellie.
Speech and Language Therapy: email@example.com
Occupational Therapy: firstname.lastname@example.org
The school will be closed for the first 5 Wednesdays of term for deep cleaning to take place. There will be weekly home learning resources to access on the website for these days.
As always, please let us know of any daily news via the VOCAs or diary, we love to share messages and photos with the class.
We hope that the transition back to school has been smooth, but if you have any questions please call, email or leave a message in your child’s home school diary.
