Welcome back to Term 3!
This term we will have a ‘Festifeel’ theme where we will be celebrating different festivals from the UK and around the world.
We will be learning all about different music, food and art from around the world and, as Chinese New Year is coming up in February, we will learn all about Chinese culture including food and dragon dancing! In literacy, we will be using the book ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ to explore different food and learn about life cycles.
In maths we will have lots of sensory fun learning about 2D shapes. As always, your child’s well-being is the most important thing and we will be creating lots of fun and engaging activities for them to participate in!
At the moment, during the current lockdown, the school will be closed to pupils on Wednesdays.
Some of you have asked about the car park arrangements and I hope you understand that the closure of the car park will remain until further notice so that we can maintain social distancing at pick up and drop off times, and student safety. This is constantly under review.
Our therapists are starting to come back into school but this won’t be like it was last year. We will continue to communicate with them through email and video calls where possible and will have some pre-arranged visits.
